Sticky Glazed Chicken Wings

Sticky Glazed Chicken Wings are a delectable appetizer or snack featuring crispy and succulent chicken wings coated in a glossy, flavorful glaze.

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Syrup
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Aminos
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings. Remove the wing tips and discard them. Separate each wing at the joint into 2 pieces, creating bite-sized delights.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the CÓCOES Aminos, ginger, cilantro, garlic, and lemon juice. Toss the wings in this flavorful bath, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate, refrigerated, for at least 2 hours.
  3. Dry the marinated wings again before seasoning them with salt and pepper to your liking. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter in the olive oil. 
  4. When the butter stops foaming, add the CÓCOES Syrup and the seasoned wings. Fry them, turning them frequently, until they are golden brown on all sides and as the glaze thickens and reduces. 
  5. Sprinkle the wings with sesame seeds for a final touch of texture and nutty aroma.
