Sesame Roasted Broccoli

Sesame Roasted Broccoli is a flavorful and nutritious dish that features fresh broccoli florets tossed in a sesame-infused seasoning and then roasted to perfection. The sesame seeds add a delightful nuttiness, while the roasting process enhances the natural sweetness of the broccoli and imparts a satisfying crispiness.

  • 1 large head of broccoli, washed and cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Aminos
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Syrup - Light
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional), to taste
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the CÓCOES Aminos, olive oil, garlic, CÓCOES Syrup, sesame seeds, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). 
  2. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until evenly coated. 
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Alternatively, lightly grease the sheet with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the marinated broccoli florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast the broccoli for 15-20 minutes, depending on your desired level of tenderness and crispness. 
  6. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and transfer the roasted broccoli to a serving dish. 
  7. Serve these Sesame Roasted Broccoli bites as a healthy side dish or a satisfying snack.
