  • 2 ½ cups low-fat milk
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 6 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Syrup
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • Fresh blueberries, for topping
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, low-fat milk, cinnamon, and unsweetened shredded coconut. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  2. Once the base is simmering, stir in the steel-cut oats. Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan.
  3. Let the oats simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, especially towards the end.
  4. After 20 minutes, the oats should be tender and cooked through. If they seem too thick, whisk in a little more milk and water until you reach your desired consistency.
