Mango Salsa

Mango salsa is a vibrant and flavorful condiment that combines the natural sweetness of ripe mangoes with a medley of fresh ingredients. The juicy mangoes add a tropical twist, while the combination of ingredients provides a refreshing and zesty accompaniment. Mango salsa is versatile and pairs well with various dishes, such as grilled chicken, fish tacos, or as a vibrant topping for tortilla chips.

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped (adjust amount for desired heat)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced mangoes, chopped red onion, and, if using, diced tomato. 
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and CÓCOES Syrup until well combined. 
  3. Pour the citrusy mixture over the mango mixture and, using a gentle touch, toss everything together until evenly coated. 
  4. Sprinkle in the chopped cilantro.
  5. Season the salsa with salt and pepper to your taste.
  6. Allow the salsa to sit for 10-15 minutes before giving the salsa a final stir.
